The Office of Fair trading findings. The OFT Ruling
The Office of fair trading in 2006 has now asked for Schools to avoid individual arrangements with clothing retailers as from their finding this has had the effect of increasing the cost of uniforms to the parents.
Where schools are prepared to co-operate we are able to offer two levels of service to help Parents 1) We can add the school logo to suitable garments purchased direct by the parents (i.e. Tesco's Asda etc) 2) we can supply direct to the parent a matched garment to the schools specification with the logo.
These two services would offer benefits of price savings and greater flexibility to the parent for further information on how we can help you please email us at Schoolwear@ketteringembroidery.co.uk
